A 13 Month Void

I have returned.

Take note that my last post was in October of 2009.

You may think this can be attributed to being lazy.

Or not knowing what to write.

Or losing interest in blogging.

For once, dear world of commitment, you are wrong.

WRONG I say!

I originally created this blog as a distraction to help me cope with not being able to get pregnant.

Guess what happened the week I created the blog?

BAM! A long awaited positive pregnancy test (Note: That will NOT happen this time).

And, 13 Months later....?

Meet my nearly 7 month old daughter. Beautiful, isn't she?


She's perfect in every way. I'm her Mom so I can say that. She's perfect, perfect, perfect and I love, love, love her. In fact, I have a whole other blog devoted solely to my pregnancy and her life. I have cherished my experience writing WatchMeGrowBaby and I will continue to update it. However, there have been too many moments where I have thought of content that would be rather weird to talk about on her blog. I mean, now that she's born, it is mostly devoted to her. Her blog just doesn't seem like the place where I should write about my dog, Lupin's, butt problems, my love for my bathtub, or even how I need to invent a bottle brush that doesn't spray water in my face every time I yank it out of a bottle.

I also bought a new camera. So I need a place to display my natural photography talent. I have now been a great photographer and Photoshop Elements expert for .... three days now? So, obviously, I need to share all of my expertise with someone. Why not the whole dang web?

So, like eating a hot dog with peanut butter, I invite you to try out reading this series of ramblings. I promise that although at first your palate is very confused...over time you'll learn to crave this world of mine. ... and maybe even a hot dog with peanut butter or two.
